Recently I had a chance to photograph the 12 Hours of Sebring the right way, with a photographer’s pass. Getting a press pass is not as difficult as you might think. Get to know the editor of the sports section of your local newspaper, and show him some of your work. Volunteer to cover an event to show the editor you can deliver quality photos. Get the required information from the editor: image size, resolution, E Mail address to send the image to and so on. If you do the job right, one or more of your images will be published. The following is an image I photographed at the 12 Hours of Sebring. The publisher used one of my shots of the start in the Sunday edition of the paper.
